Accreditation for Insurancelink.ca

Our courses are accredited and/or approved in most provinces. We are a national provider; accreditation varies from province-to-province and by licenses type. The easiest way to determine the accreditation of an individual course is to take a detailed look at the course description, which describes the eligibility of the course in each province.

Ontario customers

Ontario Life course requirements are set by the FSCO. The FSCO does not review individual courses, they simply stipulate that the courses must be of a technical insurance nature, and all Insurancelink technical courses have been specifically reviewed by Insurancelink to ensure they are suitable for credit with the FSCO in Ontario. Ontario General course requirements are set by RIBO, and many courses by Insurancelink have been submitted for individual review and approvals. Please check the course description of each course to determine the eligibility for General insurance license holders in Ontario.

Alberta customers

All courses in Alberta undergo a review by the Alberta Insurance Council (AIC). Many of our courses are approved across four different disciplines (Life, Accident/Sickness, General, and Adjusters), but please note there are a few exceptions. After taking one of our courses and completing the quiz, you can take the AIC approval number and submit it electronically on the AIC website. The online nature of Insurancelink and the AIC make it quick and easy to earn credits online. Almost all courses on our website are approved in Alberta, but please check the course description for each individual course to determine suitability.
