The Insurance Council of Manitoba has indicated that agents should be taking continuing education courses that are technical in nature, or related to the management of an agency. Note that we often receive emails from our customers telling us how convenient our services are, and how much they liked taking our courses for credit versus the alternative of traditional in-person seminars.

CE Requirements in Manitoba

Licensees in Manitoba who sell general insurance require 8 hours of continuing education per year. The courses should all be related to the technical aspects of general insurance, or the management of an insurance agency. Here are the full details as specified by the ICM (Insurance Council of Manitoba), from their website:

Please visit the Insurance Council of Manitoba website for more information. At the present time you can get all your annual requirements from insurancelink.ca.
